Dr. Ashwini just completed her dissertation on “Pathways Associated with Absenteeism and School Dropouts of Adolescent Girls’ of Koppal Taluka, Karnataka”, for her Master of Public Health (MPH) course from Indian Institute of Public Health, Gandhinagar. “The field visit was a humbling experience and it gave me many insights into the life of adolescent girls in the Koppal region, whose interviews I was interpreting”.

Radhika Diwanji, an intern pursuing her M.A. Development course from Azim Premji University, Bangalore: “The effects of the interventions were evident when I met the role model girls as they spoke confidently and were aware of the importance of education.”
